Our
Innovation

MycoTech is the first-ever mycelium packaging made from corn husk and paper waste. This allows our packaging to be made quickly and easily, providing a sustainable alternative without sacrificing strength.

Preparing of Substrate

The substrate is prepared by mixing corn husk, paper waste, and mycelium and placing them in bags. The mushroom spawn bags are then incubated at 30˚c.

Molding

After incubation, the substrate is removed from the bags and placed into molds. After that, the hardened blend is removed from the mold, allowing further mycelial growth with the aid of oxygen. When the part is fully covered with mycelium, it is dried at 70˚c to stop growth of the mycelium.
